Providing Information

From the Mission Statement: "The American Balint Society strives to teach & study the nature, use and effectiveness of Balint groups."

The Society provides several avenues for institutions and individuals to explore Balint groups to gain an understanding of their efficacy.

Demo Balint at your site/event: We provide speakers to explain and demonstrate Balint groups to professional audiences, including conferences. Because Balint groups themselves provide experiential learning they are most easily understood by doing. Our credentialed leaders may be able to present an introductory experience for free. Find someone near you and discuss what you have in mind.

 Speakers List

Members' Publications & More: Titles available through this website include outcome research on Balint groups. This list is not exhaustive, but it does represent well the breadth and depth of what our members produce.

Balint Articles

Current Scholarly Activity: The Scholarly Activity Committee is one of several with membership open to any member of the Society. The ABS has adopted a special emphasis during its current biennium to focus on supporting research into Balint groups. Contact the Chair to see how you can get involved and to share your ideas.
